Mi trabajo habla acerca de la condición humana en lugares peligrosos, interrogando sobre el tema de sobrevivencia en fronteras alrededor del mundo. Me interesa retratar a ese hombre en fuga que es capaz de hacer cualquier cosa por construir una nueva vida. Me pregunto de donde toman la fuerza los migrantes para atravesar fronteras alrededor del mundo. La serie Borders, habla de ese trance en la nada, en donde ya dejaron atrás su pasado y aun no llegan a su destino, están en el limite entre dos mundos, creyendo que llegaran a la tierra prometida. La realidad a la que se enfrentan es inimaginable.
My work speaks about human condition in poignant places at difficult times. Interrogating on the theme of survival in borders around the world, I am interested in capturing stories that are a testament of courage. I am interested in capturing the man who is capable of doing anything in order to have a new life. The Borders series speaks about the immigrant who is capable of doing everything in order to construct a new life. Focusing in this moment of nothingness, where they have left their past, but have not arrived to the promised land, they are in the limit of two worlds. The reality is far away from what they think it will be, they are confronted with the unimaginable.
